Kimchi Fried Noodles
Tangy kimchi, spicy gochujang, and hearty noodles are perfectly united in this easy recipe, creating the ideal Japanese-Korean inspired fusion dish.

Ingredients
- 2 packs rice ramen noodles
- 1 cup kimchi
- ½ tsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp tamari
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tbsp maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic
- ¼ cup scallion, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Nori strips
Directions
- Step 1
- Cook noodles according to package directions until al dente. Save at least 2 tablespoons of the cooking water before draining.
- Step 2
- Meanwhile, heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add chopped kimchi, stir, and let cook for another minute.
- Step 3
- Add gochujang, tamari, maple syrup, kimchi juice, and reserved noodle water. Stir until the sauce is emulsified and let cook for 1 minute.
- Step 4
- Add the cooked noodles and toss to combine. Continue cooking and gently stirring for around 2 minutes until all the noodles are evenly coated.
- Step 5
- Serve immediately and garnish with chopped scallions, nori strips, and sesame seeds.
